ICPH Heart and Lung Transplant Clinic
Inova’s Heart and Lung Transplant Clinic in Fairfax, Virginia, provides specialized care and treatment for patients facing advanced heart and lung diseases, bringing expert medical teams and essential services together.
Located within the Inova Center for Personalized Health, the clinic provides outpatient consultations, evaluations, and treatments for patients with complex medical conditions. For patients who may require frequent visits and ongoing care, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment was an important part of the project.
Working alongside design firm E4H, 24 exam rooms, consultation areas, workstations, private offices, and staff spaces were furnished. The reception and waiting areas feature blue upholstered seating, warm wood finishes, and open views that bring natural light into the space. Beyond the patient areas, staff workstations feature ergonomic chairs, privacy panels, and individual desk space to accommodate the clinic's daily operations. Together, these spaces help make the experience more comfortable for patients while giving medical professionals the furniture and workspaces they need throughout the day.
