Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Building 201
In collaboration with Cannon Design, Bialek worked on Johns Hopkins University’s APL Building 201's vast work/lab complex, implementing an integrated floorpan that put community, communication, and collaboration at the forefront. Our resulting highly flexible space-plan allows the facility to navigate the staff’s multi-dimensional program requirements.

Bialek is proud to have curated and designed the National Air and Space Museum's dazzling gift shop experience & vibrant 3rd floor admin workspaces. Thoughtfully furnished public gathering spaces, future-proof and environmentally conscious DIRTT PO’s, and inviting circulation areas encourage a first-class work culture that attracts and maintains NASM's top-tier talent who specialize in pioneering space research and exploration.
